Why This Channel Works

You're not cold-selling. You're adding a tool to a book you already own.

The hardest part of any affiliate offer is the audience. You already have one — a roster of contractors who pull permits and pay for things that save them time. PlotForge is built to be the easiest "yes" you'll ever put in front of them.

🔁
Recurring, not one-and-done
Contractors don't buy a site plan once — they pull permits all year. A subscription you refer pays you every single month it stays active, not a single bounty at signup.
📈
Your rate climbs with volume
Start at 25% and work up to 50% as your active referrals grow. You control your own raise — the more subscribers you bring, the higher the rate on new commissions.
♾️
Income that outlasts the first year
Most programs pay you for 12 months, then cut you off. We keep paying a residual for the life of every customer — so the book you build keeps paying you.
Published Commission — No "Contact Us"

Real numbers, on the page, where you can see them.

Other programs hide their rates behind "competitive, tailored to your reach." Here's exactly what you earn. Commission is a percentage of subscription revenue we actually collect, on PlotForge's recurring plans ($199–$799/mo).

First 12 months of each referred customer
Your active referred subscriptionsCommission
1 – 4 active subs25%
5 – 9 active subs35%
10+ active subs50%
Month 13 onward — ongoing residual, for the life of the customer
Your statusResidual commission
Active — referred 1+ new sub in the last 90 days20%
Inactive — no new sub in 90 days10%

Stay active and you hold the 20% residual on your entire book. Take a break and it eases to 10% — never zero. Commissions are paid only while a customer's subscription is active and paid. Pay-As-You-Go done-for-you orders ($149) earn a flat 20% one-time commission. Not commissionable: the self-serve one-time packs (Single Plan $29, Starter Pack $49, Job Pack $144), overages, add-ons, taxes, and processing fees.

What that looks like in real money

Refer 10 contractors on the Contractor plan ($199/mo) → you're at the 50% tier$995 / mo
That's roughly $11,940 across their first year — while they stay subscribed~$11.9K / yr
After year one, those same 10 keep paying you a residual at 20% active$398 / mo
Illustration only — not a guarantee of earnings. Actual commission depends on the plans your referrals choose, how many stay active and paid, and your activity status. A few referrals on higher tiers (Firm $499 / Firm Pro $799) move these numbers up considerably.

Your Selling Points

What you get to put in front of your contractors

You don't have to sell hard — the product does the talking. Here's the ammunition: the features that make a permit-pulling contractor stop and say "wait, it does that?"

🏠
It already knows the house is there
PlotForge auto-detects and places the existing structure from the address — no tracing the home by hand on every plan.
In supported areas
📋
Title block fills itself in
Enter the project once and the title block auto-populates with the homeowner's name and the project address. No retyping.
Auto-populate
🎨
Make it match their house style
Every element's fill color and opacity is adjustable — so a draftsman can make the output look like their own drawings, not a template.
Full control
📐
Real GIS parcel data
Pulls the actual parcel geometry from county records and renders it to scale — the drawing is exact, derived from real data, not guessed.
Deterministic
📏
Auto-computed setbacks
Setbacks calculate automatically from the lot lines, with per-edge dimensions — the part reviewers actually check.
Permit-ready
📤
PDF, PNG & DXF export
Permit-ready tabloid PDF, drawing-only PNG at any sheet size, and a true-scale DXF their draftsman can open in AutoCAD or Revit.

How We Stack Up

Why promote PlotForge over the other site-plan affiliate programs

The other programs in this category make you guess at your rate and cut your income off after a year. We don't.

Typical competitor program

Who This Is Built For

A perfect fit if you already have contractors' attention

The program rewards volume — so it's strongest for people who already reach a base of permit-pulling pros. But anyone with the right audience is welcome to apply.

🧲
SEO & lead-gen operators
You run sites, lists, or lead-gen for contractors in construction, remodeling, foundations, fences, pools, or decks. PlotForge is a recurring add-on to relationships you already monetize — and the fastest path to the 50% tier.
📨
Marketing agencies & consultants
You serve a roster of contractor clients. Recommending a tool that saves them money on every permit makes you more valuable to them — and pays you for it, monthly.
🔨
Contractors & industry voices
A contractor with a peer network, an estimator, a permit expediter, or anyone with an audience of people who pull permits. Refer the GCs and trades you know and earn on every one that subscribes.
Questions

Affiliate Program FAQ

You earn 25% of subscription revenue on your first 4 active referred subscriptions, 35% from 5–9, and 50% at 10 or more — for the first 12 months of each customer. After that, you keep earning an ongoing residual (20% while active, 10% if you go quiet) for as long as that customer stays subscribed. It's a percentage of what we actually collect on the recurring plans, which run $199–$799/month.
Recurring. You earn on every billing period the referred customer pays, not just the first one. As long as their subscription is active and paid, you're earning on it. This is the core difference from programs that pay a one-time bounty or cut you off after 12 months.
After a customer's first year, your residual rate depends on whether you're still bringing in new subscribers. Refer at least one new subscription in the prior 90 days and you hold the 20% residual on your whole book. If you go 90 days without a new sub, the residual eases to 10% — it never drops to zero.
Each commission goes through a 45-day hold after the payment clears — this protects against refunds and chargebacks. After it clears, approved commissions pay out on a monthly cycle once your balance is at least $50. Payouts and any required tax forms are handled through our affiliate platform's payout provider.
Yes — a Pay-As-You-Go done-for-you order ($149) earns a flat 20% one-time commission. It's the recurring subscription plans (Contractor, Contractor Pro, Firm, Firm Pro) that carry the tiered 25–50% rate plus the lifetime residual, so that's where the long-term income is. Not commissionable: the self-serve one-time packs (Single Plan $29, Starter Pack $49, Job Pack $144), overages, and add-ons.
90 days, last-click. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 90 days, the referral is credited to you. If a referred customer later cancels, the referral relationship ends — a future re-subscription doesn't re-credit you, so the incentive stays on building a base that sticks.
Two main ones: no commission on your own account or accounts you control (no self-referral), and no bidding on "PlotForge" or our brand terms in paid search. You also need to disclose your affiliate relationship where you promote, per FTC guidelines. The full terms are linked below — worth a read before you apply.
It's an application-and-approval program. It's built for people who already reach contractors — SEO and lead-gen operators, marketing agencies, and industry voices — but anyone with a relevant audience can apply. We review every applicant.
