Simple: type a street address into PlotForge, and the property's recorded boundary lines and lot dimensions load automatically, drawn to scale over an aerial photo. If your address is in the coverage below — and statistically, it is — that's the whole check. The 30-day free trial costs nothing and doesn't ask for a card, so the most reliable coverage test is also free: sign up and enter your address.
United States — all 50 states + D.C.

Canada — Ontario and Alberta
PlotForge is expanding into Canada. Covered today:

The Kingston area (Frontenac County) and Simcoe County — including Wasaga Beach and the surrounding cottage country. Parcels load with recorded boundaries, lot dimensions, and the assessment roll number. One difference from the U.S.: owner names aren't included, because Ontario's assessment authority doesn't release them publicly — the owner line on your plan stays editable so you can fill it in.
🇨🇦 Alberta
Big Lakes County — the High Prairie and Winagami Lake area. Private-land parcels load with recorded boundaries and legal descriptions (ATS quarters and Plan;Block;Lot). As in Ontario, owner names aren't published by the province, and Crown land — including the provincial park itself — has no private parcels to load, which is correct, not a gap.
Elsewhere in Canada? Not yet — and unlike the U.S., we won't pretend otherwise. Coverage is growing, and hearing where the demand is decides what we add next: tell us where you are.
The two places in the U.S. we can't do — and why
Out of America's 3,144 counties, there are exactly two where PlotForge can't load parcels. Not "a few areas may vary" — two, and we'll name them:
St. Helena Parish, Louisiana
Why: the parish has never digitized its parcel maps. There is no digital parcel record to load — not from the parish, not from any state or commercial source. Property research there still happens on paper at the assessor's office.
Crowley County, Colorado
Why: the county keeps its parcel records restricted from public data sharing — digital maps exist, but the county doesn't release them. If that policy ever changes at the assessor's office, we'll wire the county in.
Combined, those two counties hold a tiny fraction of one percent of U.S. properties. If your project happens to land in one of them, email support — we'll look at what documentation you have (a survey, a deed sketch, a plat) and figure out the options together, including a done-for-you plan.
What if my address doesn't load?
It's rare, but it happens even inside covered areas — the usual suspects are a brand-new subdivision lot or a just-recorded split that hasn't reached the county's published records yet, or an address the geocoder lands slightly off (rural roads, new construction). Two things to know:
First, tell us. There's a request-my-area button right in the app, or email support@siteplangenerator.com. We investigate every single report — and most get resolved fast, often the same day. That's not a marketing promise; it's how several of the areas on this page got their coverage in the first place: a user asked.
Second, you're not stuck. The $149 done-for-you option exists precisely for the messy cases — we draw the plan for you from whatever records exist, delivered in 48–72 hours.

Does PlotForge work in my state?
Yes — PlotForge works in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Enter a street address and the property's recorded parcel lines and dimensions load automatically. The only exceptions in the entire country are two rural counties whose governments don't publish digital parcel records: Crowley County, Colorado and St. Helena Parish, Louisiana.
Does PlotForge work in Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes. Alaska and Hawaii are covered the same as the lower 48 — enter the address and the parcel loads with recorded boundaries and dimensions.
Does PlotForge work in Canada?
PlotForge is expanding into Canada, starting with Ontario. Today that means the Kingston area (Frontenac County) and Simcoe County, including Wasaga Beach. Canadian parcels load with recorded boundaries and dimensions; owner names aren't included because Ontario's assessment authority doesn't release them.
